Simply put, if you have a NTSC TV, this game won't work for you... at first. The game itself is natively PAL (and therefore 50 Hz), though it does have a 50/60 Hz selector near the beginning. Getting to that selector involves good eyes and a bit of luck, though, since the screen image will scroll and be black-and-white (as is typical of PAL signals on NTSC TVs).
Just wait for Indigo Prophecy, the American version, if you have a NTSC TV.

Worked okay for me, v12 and SM 3.3. Burnt at 4x on Ridata DVD+Rs with Alcohol 120%. Just took a little squinting to find the 60 Hz selecter ;) I would still wait for Indigo Prophecy, though, since Fahrenheit at 60 Hz seems to have a bit of a frame rate problem (it's not completely smooth) and is a bit grainy. Hopefully Indigo'll fix these problems, though I have my doubts.

i have one small problem with this game, i played the game fine but when i got halfway through the game some scenes skipped or froze or would not just not load, do you think it's a good idea to burn the game at 1x speed? to see if it improves?

Yeam man, always go for the slowest speed possible.
BTW, I made a backup of Indigo Prophecy today and so far it works great, ISO>READ and ISO>WRITE with Decrypter. I love this game! It's so unique.

WHen I use ISO to extract it and rebuild it, then try an burn it via, Nero, using UDF/DVD data format it says, DAT file is too big for UDF/DVD. Thats why Nero won't let me burn the rebuilt image. DO I need to turn it back to ISO?
blow me off will'ya???

If you're using swap magic, you don't need to replace dummy files unless the TOC is higher than around 4.65 or so. If you have a chip, you don't ever need to. I haven't got the game yet. I'll let people know if it works when I get it...
