Usually if there is a yellow exclamation next to a file under device manager it means a driver is not installed or working properly. You may wanna try a driver rollback or updating the driver. In XP, it's Control Panel-->Performance and Maintinence-->System-->Hardware-->Device Manager-->right click the driver with the yellow mark next to it-->properties-->Driver-->rollback driver or update driver. Also you may wanna try unistalling and reinstalling the driver. Good Luck.

Pindeho!!
just wanna let you that I found the problem. Its the DVDs, Verbatim.
Try using another dvd cause I changed and know it works.
The Verbatim DVDs doesnt seem to handle the backups.
I dunno if thats the key to your problem, but it certainly was here. And I noticed that you also used Verbatim DVD´s so I just thought that I should let you know!
good luck

thats funny because alot of people on here recomend Verbatim for back-ups, i guess it also depends on your burner, i use Maxell, and have no problems with them so far, i even did a test back-up with my San Andreas, and the disk could handle it fine :)

@ Pindeho
I had the same problems with crap media,I was swayed by the price but ended up with truckloads of duds.Since then have put down extra coin for quality and bought a new Firewire external burner, remarkable difference and Im stoked. However had a problem with Sniper Elite,Backed up a PAL version and am playing on a Japanese PS2 Slimline with S/Magic 3.6.Patched it with Jayteemasters PAL 2 NTSC fix and although the game loads and is audible, its squashed to the left hand side...any thoughts...?
