Ok thanks guys...i'm gonna have to ponder all these thoughts...this problem's quite irritating! I regularly check my computer for spyware (Adaware SE 1.06r1 and Spybot Search and Destroy) so i don't think that's the problem. Maybe i'll try ordering another batch of TY eventually, incase i was so unfortunate as to recieve a duff batch!
Ok, final question - How many CRC errors does there have to be before the disc can be classed as "corrupt" or "bad". Can 1 CRC error affect the playback of the movie? Thanks guys!
one or two errors probably would escape notice, ie you might blink!. but i don't tolerate a single CRC error. i try to watch as many backups as i can as soon after they're burnt, so i get to notice if there's a problem with my burner or whatever. Or at least i try to watch one or two from a batch of burns so i know i can trust the whole batch..
