If the screen is flashing and flickering its likely because your trying to play a PAL game on a NTSC console or visa-versa. Try switching the video mode to NTSC and loading the game.

i did switch it but it still doesnt work i think its becasue the file is bigger than 3.35gb or there might be a dummy file.

When you extract the file, what do you get? Not all games over 4.38GB's need rebuilt to work with Swap Magic. What is the extension of the file you're burning?

Yeah iso is the correct format. It should have an mds file with it or something. Are you using DVD Decrypter to burn it? It could be a dummy file, but don't worry about that yet.

im using staples DVD-R 2x and they never failed me so i dont think it is the brand. Its either a dummy file or the file is too big or something.

Try different DVD-R's first. It's far more likely to be the DVD-R than the dummy file. Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, TDK, Maxell, Sony, or Phillips should all work fine.

Sorry to butt in like this, but I have a question for Tokijin

Is there any special settings that I have to use in DVD Decrupter, or are the default ones ok?

Because Iw been trying to burn Dragon Quest VIII Demo that has both and .iso and .mds with DVD Decruptor, but SwapMagic still doesn't want to load it... I however haven't tryed to burn it at 4x Speed wich Im going to do so now...

Anyways I apologize for butting in...

Default settings should be fine. You can download the complete Japanese version of DQVIII. Yeah sucks it's in Jap, but the DQ series is awesome. Load the mds file into DVD Decrypter, not the iso. Sounds goofy, but that's the correct method.

Thx for replying, yes DQ is a really great and solid RPG series, and yes I was going to download the Japanese Full version but I found the demo that is sopoes to be in english and I just can't resist it...

so Im going to give it one last shot with the DVD Decrypter...

BTW is the game not working becouse maybe SwapMagic can't load Demos??

Thanks. I've been doing some research, and the initial results are iffy for the BenQ 1620.
