Do you have any Clone CD installed? Do you get any specific error message (what does it say)? If you have Nero installed you may want to disable Nero's image drive since it'll throw up a red flag to the copy protection just as much as A120's virtual drive will.

Does this happen when you run the game from the original?

It sounds like a bad burn. What brand/type media did you use? Have you tried burning slower than 4X?

This is really odd. COD should be no problem with your Litey, A120 and a 4X read and write. Let me call in our geestar20 who's our resident A120 fan, maybe he can give you more detail as to the steps and settings. I'll send him a pm right now :)

No problem. Sorry I couldn't help more. If it turns out you can't get an A120 copy to work then I can lead you through what it takes for my fave - Blindwrite :)

Sorry for the late responce EL JEFE and -djxkape- :)
Make sure when you read and write your COD,, your datatype is set to Safedisc 2/3 and not Safedisc, this is very important.
And aslo stated make sure your read and write speeds are at 4x and im sure you know this but if you come across a bunch of disc read errors don't worry as this is all part of Safedisc protection and they will stop at around 10'000 or so.
Before actually making coasters try mounting your image to Al120 virtual drive to see if your image was made right.
Any more questions feel free to ask.

try changing your cd-r brand and see if this works, you might have picked up a bad batch of whatever cd-r's you got. I personally like Maxell or TDK and they have never failed me.
Post back and give an update.

just for the sake of it, try to burn another game and see if it is the burner. If another game is giving the same issue then it is your burner.
Just a FYI, when you go to burn COD leave everything at defaualt except the datatype which should be set to Safedisc 2/3 and write at 4x.

I personally use Pioneer DVR-109 and I love it but it is getting harder and harder to find drives that will make true 1:1 backups of PC games without using some type bypass protection tool.
But other than that dis one is a TRUE P-I-M-P baybuh, hehe

Hands down the best burner for backing up games is the Plextor Premium but they're getting hard to find since Plextor quit making them not long ago. If you google for one I'm sure you can still find one. There hasn't been a game yet that mine wouldn't make a perfect copy of :)

flip218 has Plextor Premium hooked up via USB but I don't know if it's a true USB drive or if he's got it in a USB enclosure (<-- always an option).
