i got my dvd xcopy platinum for free,and i was the one that got flip218 in this mess from the green roon..{dvdxcopy site)
i joined around 10/2002,when dvdxcopy was the big deal of the year.
from working at the dvdxcopy site i feel i posted all one million posts.there were a heck of a lot of posts at that site,i wonder if drd counted them into the total.my est. of the posts there were from 100000 to 300000

i joined mainly to find out how to restore my xbox dashboard which i still havnt done.google kept taking me to this forum as well.
xbox 1.1 80GB hdd xecuter 2 unleash x dash(possible upgrade in future) very old pc(new one should be coming soon)
bottle of bacardi(depending on how drunk i am sometimes the bottles empty)
packet of smokes(until i smoke them all)

I joined to ask a video question on how to get my vhs to dvd using my camcorder. I'd never thought I'd come here again but then I wanted to know how to boot PS2 games and did a google search and it lead me here again. Now I just hang around reading threads and stuff that seems interesting. Yea I almost always get lead back here when doing google searches about PS2 backup stuff

I joined AD because I had just got a DVD burner for X-mas and I had no idea how to use it so I searched the net and I found this site with all the great guides and downloads( O and best of all the forums).

I joined to ask technical questions re: dvd burning/video rendering; got really interested to the point of providing, at least I think, resonably valuable technical responses to others/newbies... AND THEN...
became an addict of SAFTY VALVE

My story is much the same: posted my first because I couldn't decide between a Denon and a Yammy. Came back a second time a while later because of DVD burning frustrations...saw a noob post from a guy with problems setting up his Denon 3805 so I thought I'd help him out...haven't left since. I've learnt a hell of a lot here from some really great guys and I'm looking to learn a hell of a lot more.

I joined about 1,5 years ago (I think). Basically I learned how to rip a DVD to DivX using the guides (and software) on this site. My first movie was Star Trek: First Contact, and it took me about 3 days to get it right! Since then I ripped 2000+ movies to DivX and after buying a DVD-burner I copied 1000+ DVD's.
If I encounter a problem, the first site I visit is Afterdawn. Great forum, great guides, great software...and absolutely free! This site is what internet is all about!
