ok over at http://www.romnation.net it only has the option of downloading roms for mame but i dont see any for kawaks. is there a diffrence between the roms with emulators or should they all work pretty much the same. also i was wondering if y is there 2 sets of download files for some games and just one for others???

As stated by Darkadou before, depnding on the type of rom you download (mostly CPS2 and CPS1 will work with mame32 or kawaks)

Here are examples;
