well as long as you haven't got the wet curly perm that Don Johnson's partner had, can't remember his name now. Awesome series, loved it. must buy the first boxset, it's on DVD for £20. i even had the same sort of dress sense that Don Johnson had in the series, when i was still at school :P

tubbs that was it, i had it on the tip of my tongue. when i was at school you would not believe how many white guys had the curly wet perm, it was hilarious. the curly bonce suited one or two of them, it was the whole wet gel thing i couldn't understand. any guy that used that gel spent all day mopping it up as it was constantly dripping. as for me i had hair halfway down my back. no splits ends (most girls were jealous!) and certainly not buckets of dripping gel going on

actually up until about 8-9 years ago i had hair down to my ass, no mullet either, all one length, my wife still bitches cause i cut it all off. hell yes i was one of the cool kids, everyone got their weed from me! so i was instant friend to all the jocks that didn't know where to get it, the cool guy to all the cheerleaders that wanted to be bad girls and rebel against their parents, and hated by all my teachers cause 99% of the time i could prove them wrong. so yeah I had a blast in school :)

i was just a bit of a rocker, there's a photo on AD somewhere. i went for an interview at a huge London bank some years ago, and i had the hair in a neat ponytail; though the job agency told me afterwards, ditch the hair or you will keep being turned down for jobs. so it went and the day it was cut it was like a sheep shearing, hair everywhere. And i stayed all respectable after that. my brother had the whole long hair thing going on too, in fact his hair was even longer, he looked a bit Daniel Day Lewis out of the 'Last of the Mohicans'. but nowadays he's bald as a baby, i mean shaved off, not misplaced. :O

cool creaky...
i'm kinda the guy that everyone is friends with, nobody hates but am not one of the populars (dont wanna be)...
its funny how times have changed a couple of years ago, guys in the years under me at the moment are wearing pink shirts and the whole striped polo's and all that, if i were to ever wear that when i was their age i would have had the crap beaten out of me...

funny you mentioned an interview, i had hair to my ass when i interviewed for the job i have now. i walked in to the room with the 3 big bosses and instantly grabbed my hair and said "see this, it can go anytime, but not for an interview, you want me to work here i'll cut it no problem" they said they liked the "braveness" of that and could tell right away i wasn't a "yes man". little did they know i wasn't a "company man" either lol. hell i never even applied here, they found me on monster.com and i just had a resume on there for shits and giglles, i was happily into my 4th year at my other job but the offer was way too good to pass up so here i am.

no worries!. i may take the pic offline again as the whole dvd backing up paranoia thing bothers me, don't want the RIAA pasting my pic around the place as i post a lot about movies i mean. i'd already taken the others offline :)

That post made me think of you as the guy from Social Distortion. I forgot the name of the song, but some of the lyrics in that song is about Ness (that's the singer's name) applying for a job and then he took a look at his torn up jeans and an messed up hair and just walked out.
