Most manufacturers have a website with support. If no manufacturer site, I would think you'd have a support phone number. I've checked and updated mine through internet support. There are some independent sites that supply the info. Be careful, there's some hacked firmware available for some drives and the results aren't always good.

Looks like your firmware is a bit outdated, it's newest/latest firmware is PSX3, go here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1949 and get it to update your burner's firmware. Hopefully that'll speed up the ripping process.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.
