Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all at AD.Well i don't get on AD enough these days but it is nice to see some of the old faces as well as the new around the place i will have been a member here 2 years on the 30th Dec and to see the like of brobear,darthnip,jim_dandy, ScubaBud and others still here reminds me of what AD is all about a true pleasure to visit.Have a happy christmas all and a great new year.

Thanks John and same back to you. Let's thank Phantom69 for starting this thread and aD for allowing it. Also, I love the changed logo at the top left of afterdawn with the snow, candy cane, and Christmas tree. Very nice touch this time of year!!!

AD is a big forum, but I noticed we post to some of the same threads. I'm on from time to time, just throw in a hello every once in a while and we'll get acquainted as time passes. I was just yanking your chain. It was you who invited me over to visit this thread. I was true to my promise. I didn't do the yellow snow card this year. LOL
There's a bunch on the thread that I've passed some rhetoric with here on the forum. In case I may have missed you I've already wished everyone a merry Christmas. I may not have mentioned ScubaBud, Rotary, or Jim_Dandy by name yet, but you guys have a good one. I've only run into darthnip a few times, but I'll wish him a Merry Christmas as well. LOL

thats what they told me in church, plus my fater in law is a pastor, so i had to sit in on his sermon the other day...
i'm no scrooge, merry christmas everyone, happy new year, when we get there..........

@Phantom69...we seem to have that in common; I never believed in Santa Claus either. My Dad tells me that I wouldn't put up with it even when I was really really young...Mom wanted to have photos of me taken on Santa's lap but I raised all sorts of stink because it was all fake...I was too young to even remember. Either I was a very astute kid or (more likely) it was my older brother's doing; he always got a perverse thrill from raining on someone's parade.
