I'll try that and let you know.

I've been dealing with this for the past two weeks. I mainly researched and looked at alot of forum posts and websites with ideas, and I first now thought I could do it. 24 hours later, I cant even see straight.

The video is from something I recorded. I recorded it in high quality, and I wanted it on ONE DVD, not two. Thus began my journey of drunken nights :|

Your idea seems simple enough, I think I have done something like that before except I put the entire game on my PC straight from the TV. That ended up being like 10 gigs. Obviously too big so I tried to (dvd)Shrink it, and it played on my PC but NOT the standalone dvd player.

Non-the-less I will try your idea, and if it works I will owe you alot of beer (which I dont have right now due to stress)......

Sadly enough though, I am not doing this for myself, its for about 5 family members that know I make my own dvd home movies. So being the nice guy that I am, I agreed to it. x(

Thanks again to you and everyone for helping me with my project!!

Yes I did, but I already deleted it from my PC though because I needed space.

I just tried to put both titles in NeroVision and I was secessful.

However, the video is faster than the audio. Now I remember why I didn't do it this way. My audio/video was out of sync.

NeroVision Video Options:
Aspect Ratio: Automatic
Quality setting: Custom
Sample Format: Automatic
Bit Rate: 4600 kbit/s
Resolution: 720x480 (CCIR-601 D1)
Encoding Mode: High Quality (2-Pass VBR)
Audio Format: Dolby Digital (AC-3) 2.0

I dont know what else to tell you, so I guess let me know. Thanks for your help and advice. Let me know if you get tired of this.....I'll understand. :)

Sorry I said wrong earlier. From TV to PC = it was mpeg.

I used Sonic MyDVD software, and a VideoOH Device hardware.

I have never had any trouble before with the video/audio sync.

From there, I use NeroVision to complete my projects. This has worked for me over and over for the past 3 years.

you can try to slow the bitrate down to cure the audio sync problem.
or, burn slower, with a 2 pass check just to make sure.

I burned @ 2x, and I did the 2 pass also. The only thing would be the bitrate right. Well, I chose the option "Super Long Play" and the bitrate ended up being 1600.
I could tell that the audio improved, but it wasnt right yet. So, if I go any lower with the bitrate, the DVD would be really fuzzy and unwatchable right??

I first now started to work with Vegas, so I'll see how that goes.

well, if it improved, then your on the right track... try this program and run it thru this instead of nero's encoder.. it is not the best like andmerr stated..
