The controller is still "conceptional" and it could be changed before release. I do however think that they overdid the controller a bit...they could remove that extra plastic at the ends.

its for people with bigger hands. you remove it and people will say its too small. i for one have big hands, and i like my fingers to be even and my pinky not to be skrunched due to no plasic down there.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

its 7 channel bluetooth! why does everyone thinkg its only for controllers. you can have anything bluetooth enabled to your ps3, like ur pda, your pc, your headset, your phone, etc.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

the ps3 look's nice the controler suck's i dont care abought the pepole with big hands they should make a controller 4 those pepole but not make 1 for all thats just stupid!!!!!!! the games all looked prerenderd at E3 but who know's it might be that ther shooting 4 that good of graphics i hope so!!!!!!

all those 2rd party controllers break on me, they are mad from shitty plastic and fall apart. the controller will be redone, i for one think its too round and it will feel like holding a big but thinner brat.

yeah i know what you mean, but i read a review on ign about a madcatz controller for xbox 360, beofre i never really liked anykind of 2nd party controllers but this reveiw was very positive.

Who cares how it looks, all that matters is how it performs. That is what will make or break the Ps3.
I agree with you guys I have bad luck with after market controlers I try to stick with Originals they seem to last longer.

id have to agreee with anubis66 and rabbity, 3rd party controllers do suck, i had a 3rd party controller for n64 and it was a total piece of crap!!! since then i have never purchased any 3rd party accessories for any system i have owned. call me a brand whore if you want, but in my opinion no accessory can work better for any console than the accessories made by the company that also made the console. no doubt that any 3rd party $29.99 controller for ps3 will have genuine "bloo-toof" technology and work just as well as a real boomerang

Sounds like the 360 controller. I guess that Microsoft took a lot of ideas from the Dual Shock to design that controller. I do wish that they redisign the boomerang controller, but not to drastically. It might look a bit odd, but it looks very ergonomic.

they keep saying controller because that is what they want to use the bluetooth channels for lol.

Sony never explicity said that it was goign to be the final design for the controller in the first place, and they have already announced that they will be changing the controller to 'an unspecified design'

They should just keep the same controllers. Its been like that since PS1 so why change now. I like it the way it is. Just make it Bluetooth and that should be enough.

this may be out there, but has sony ever said that the shiny/metallic controler look is going to be the colour so to speak with all ps3 systems whether you buy black/white/silver?? i for one would prefer everything black only because it would just flow with every piece of audio/video equiptment i have, call me a dork but im sure a lot of poeple try to do the same

you make a good point. im sure there will be color coded controllers. look at current ps2 controllers, theres a color for anyone. i would like a black ps3 and a white controller. the contrast would be fun.

Id like a flamingpink system with a lime green controller. J/K i wanna total white system to match my x360 and my white revolution when i get it. and my hdtv.
