I liek lethal's idea of having an extra status awarded not by volume. There should be a "I'm a legal adult not a junoir high kid" and a verified "not a dumba$$" certification, lol. Using a "bot" and some cleverly divious programming I coudl leave the ocmp and come back a few thousand posts richer and addict status. But that would be wrong :) and also mean nothing.
Fanboy is a term used to describe someone who is utterly devoted to a single subject. This generally is followed by the devotion and support even when proved wrong.
Anecdotal, by my definition, it's the way too many people here think. It's also all the evidence you have.

And yes, I second the idea of the status being awarded by quality of the posts, quality, not quantity. I have noticed there are a few "nobody" seniors around, who knows they may surprise us, but already I have seen quite a few senior members banned, and acting childish...

i think it would be kinda cool to be able to look at mod's profiles in another aspect to see who they have banned, their stats, and other related aD info.. kinda like a special feature to members past n00b status..
then we'd see just how innocent ddp really is
