Have you tried bbmayo's guide that was pointed out by fatstrat?

http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/guides.htm

The How to copy to a dual layer disk using DVD Decrypter seems pretty easy to me.

Yes! Use DVD Decrypter in ISO read mode and then ISO write mode. Read the guide

http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/Copying%20a%20Dual%20Layer%20DVD%...

Burn at 2.4x speed.

Have you tried it in another player, when I first made dl backups they would not play in two out of five players, which I replaced. Some of the older standalones do not like them.

I have a Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic and Cyberhome. The players that would not play it are an older Apex, and a Sanyo that I had purchased last June. The Sanyo was the worst it was freezing through the whole movie, yet the Toshiba and Panasonic played them fine.
