Thanks only a little bow. As you stated it is nice to be appreciated. It is always good to promote the quality brands, and they can now be had at a reasonable price, not like it used to be. Memorex used to be a bargain compared to others so that is why I bought it in the beginning. And even the quality media can give you problems. Lately, I have been having trouble with Sony MIT -R 8x disks. Cannot get them to burn at 8x on my Plex's. They will burn at 4x but at 8x they just sit and freeze up the comp. Do not have the problem with +R. I do not think it is a drive problem but some communication problem brought in by sw. Started after I loaded a beta testing Xcopy program. Any rate probably gonna reformat and see if this gets rid of it. So sometimes even good media can be a pain too.
