how did you do it? I was told to flash with the x3 3294 v16plus.bin then flash with the evox M8_16 to a different bank and that will allow the xbox to boot the autoinstaller CD.. THen you can format the hdd and install the dashboard.

I would say first go to www.xbox-scene.com and go through the version checker to see what version your xbox is, then you will know which files to install.

I suggest you guys keep your original HDD. Because you will need it later.
Just get any other 10GB or bigger HDD. Plus it in then format it and install dashboard.

these 2 bios are illegal. Nobody put them modchip and sell it. you have to do it yourself.
X3 BIOS Build 3294 is for X3 chip only. So X3 can config Live.
Evox M8plus BIOS is the bios to load autoinstaller CD, dashboards.
That is why you flash them into 2 different banks of X3.

i think i found out why it was saying haulting on you jt your flash protection is on mine was off acording to the light but it was switched for some reason so move the switch on your chip and then try it oh yea if you need the x3 file i have it and can send it to you just pm me

I tried it both ways... I moved the switch on the chip, but stil got nothing... I actually got it to start the HTTP flash, but it errored out. The guy that chipped it originally is back so he has it today.. Thanks for everyone's help...
