i 2nd that.

i got xbox since launch but i never got live, playing online with the ps2 was very fine to me ,just didnt need the feel to pay for it ,and like i said a friend of mine who got xbox live and has ps2 and plays online ,said xbox live isnt really worth the pay.

I know a kid who works for sony japan and he thinks that a joint online service between sony and nintendo is in the works and their trying to microsoft into it to.

there is 0ne thing that seperates x360 from ps3 that big green button in the middle of the x360 controller best thing to happen to online gaming since i put my dreamcast cord in my wall and started playing. but hold on ps3 also has some thing my favorite 4 letters F R E E. also UNREAL TOURNAMENT 2007 which is now not coming for the x360

I think your mistaken with Unreal dr. Cool.

Epic havent said anything about the game not coming to xbox 360, they have even said they most likely will but havent officialy said they will yet. Infact everyone is expecting them to at E3.

I dont quite get you there dr.cool, but anyway they would all have thier own online servers so it would be possible that Unreal will only be playable over Xbox LIVE for 360 owners and only PS online for PS3 owners. Besides there are talks of games coming out on all systems that will be playable over the internet against anyone with a copy of the game whether its 360,ps3 or PC

what sort of equiptment would you need to buy? Like routers and stuff. I already got good broadband. What sony equiptment do you think we will need?

With Xbox 360 and PS3 you will need a router if you have more than one devise hooked up to broadband. However with both PS3 and Xbox 360 you can have a wireless broadband but would mean you would have to spend more to have a wirless router (of which you wold definatly need). Also a disadvantage with the 360 is that you would have to buy the wirless adapter seperate but from looking on todays news PS3 will be atleast $100 more than 360 so it would still work out cheaper to buy a 360 with wirless.
