Rebelyun,
If you want alot better quality you will have to go w/ an encoding Program and not a transcoding Program. Shrink, Recode, CloneDVD,CloneDVD 2 and most of the other programs are transcoders. If you want to apply that much compression to a movie that has been transcoded then you will see artifacts, although might be small they still can be seen. This is where the encoder is much better but w/ a price. It takes about 3X longer to encode than it does to transcode but the quality is way superior

the easiest way is to play the movie in any player, watch each chapter for 5 sec, skip to next, until your done.
then you dont get the crc error in shrink, ti then will complete the process. works for me everytime.
