Your Firewall software is on.. Turn it off. Keep looking.. I had a similar problem previously.. and once I disabled my firewall software, everything connected smoothly.

Hi, I've used this thread to help me get xbmc on my machine but I've kinda come to the end of my abilities. I've managed to put XBMC in E:/Apps/XBMC (had to create the apps dir as there is apparently either no available space on C, or some other reason that prevents me from putting the folder there). I didn't compile anything I didn't build anything, just unzipped the rar and moved the folder. I added the line to my evox.ini and I get XBMC listed in my dash (EvoX) but it's red and nonselectable. I noticed there was no default.xbe in the XBMC folder, so do I need to compile XBMC after all? or is there something else I'm schmutzing up?
Thx
