@ filmczy: the cyclic error could be anything, you could have a damaged VOB inserted, scratched disc.............try using isobuster to recover the disc to your hard drive fot starters and if you succeed then try burning it back to another disc

@filmczy
With the amount of programs you have tried to use on this disk, it sounds like there is some imperfection/scratch in the disk. As you say it would be better to try cleaning, or get another original. The AnyDVD ripper should have made it through this without a problem :)

Success! Perhaps it was a case of "Ghost in the Machine" but as a last ditch effort this morning (the dvd is due back by noon!) I quickly cleaned the disc, downloaded the new beta version of DvDFab (2.9.7.9), used Shrink and everything went ultra smooth. Thanks for everyone's suggestions. I probably won't even like the movie!

Download the free ripper DVDFab Decrypter and then rip to your HDD and open with Shrink and process.
http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm
Or dl the 21 day trial of AnyDVD and run it behind Shrink, or use the built in ripper by right clicking on the redfox in the tray rip to your HDD and then use Shrink to compress

Got this on the first try with CloneDVD2 -AnyDVD running in the background! I have both the sing-along and regular versions on one disk and it play without any problem. I used the trial version of CloneDVD2, but now I will buy it. IMHO this company should be supported with our PURCHASE. Too many friends using bootlegs. A few bucks to eliminate all the headaches? Ya, You Betcha!
Be alert! We need more lerts.
