Philips uses some low quality manufacturers: Philips and cmags. Not a brand name I'd even purchase anymore.

Their prices,when on sale-usually run the same as when the verbs are on sale: 50 pks for $15

anytime you can get the verbs for 15 bucks a spindle is a GREAT week - not sure why some of you think it is a sucky week - maybe cuz you don't have a bestbuy close by?? Verbs are #1 in my book simply cuz I have never used any TY's before, I havent had to switch media since the verbs give me such quality scans. Do youself a favor and buy a few hundred verb discs before the sale is gone!

It's mostly memorex/hp/and 1 good sale at Best Buy.

I got a staple's- 2 mins away,super walmart-400 yards away. About 40 mins to my closest Bestbuy and Office max. Office Depot is over an hour away!

I consider this week's sale sucky,because Staple's got crap HPs. Majority of their media,except for sony , is basically junk. No more Sony yudenooo-T02,only SonyD21.

Office Max increased their price for the slim line cases buy 1 get 1 free sale.

Office Depot: Hard to find a buy 1/get 2 free sale on the house brand media.Their 16x media just doesn't seem as good as their 8x media.

Everybody's getting rid of their 8x speed media.

I do buy large batches of media. 350 of those MCC-004 verbs at Office Max a couple weeks ago. I guess I'll have to start picking up 500 or so? Hard telling how long they'll be around.

For my benqs,those Verbatim MCC-004 love to be burned fast! Excellent media. The best in the 16x speed rate that I have used. I can't wait till we get some sony Yuden000-T03 nearby!

Too bad your bestbuy is so far away for you. Am I correct in saying that my sony 810 external harddrive is actually a BenQ? I heard that they are but never did any research on them - Anyone know if it is? Cuz I burn my verbs @ 16x without a prob and saugmon you just said they liked to be burnt fast and I never have a quality problem with them.

You better start picking up 600 or so verbs at a time when you get the chance!

XxRUINSxX Just got back from Micro Center and picked up the Verbs printable DVD & CD's $16.99 & $ 9.99 also another 100 slim packs for $11.99 that shot a $150.00. Cheaper than the X wife though. Chris
