haha i appreciate your determination, okay, were they zipped? no.. when i got in 'file explorer' in dashboard, and click the emulator, nothing happens

you can go strait from comp to xbox you just need a crossover(systemlink) or a cat5 ethernet

ok did you disable the dhcp and enter the ip below for the static?? whats ur comp ip and ur boxes ip??

i think my pc's ip is: 192.168.2.10
and the xbox's ip is: 192.168.0.100
and to disable dhcp, thats on my xbox right?

ok so this is how it should be you should have dhcp disabled and under it you should enter the ip from the dhcp and you have to have the primary dns, secondary dns the subnet and the gatway you will have to get this from ur computer. then you nedd to put the info in on your xbox. if you dont know how to get the stuff off your computer just tell me

well if you turn dhcp on it shoulod have had an ip but if it didnt just make it 5 didgits higher then ur comps thats the last number

ok now open flash fxp and start a new sesion and type in ur xbox ip the for password and user type in xbox

on the network settings on the xbox it still says that there is no link
could it be that i do not have the right type of ethernet cable?
