what a great price on the Verb DLs a buck apiece. I think I got the last two combos of the Sony +Rs MIJ, rest were MIT.

I screwed up garmoon. I don't know what I was thinking. I guess I had the 20-disk package of Verbatims DLs on my mind from the Best Buy sale. It's a bundle of 3 packages of the 10-disk cakebox, or 30 disks total. Still $2 per disk, but that's the regular price and not a sale price.

i scored pretty big today @ officedepot locally here in Los Scandelous :)

wiped out their remaining 8x Maxell dvd-r/dvd+r 50 pack spindles MIJ full hub white inkjet printables~ :) (MID coding of MXLRG03 & MAXELL002 respectively) got 2 packs of the DVD-R and 4 packs of the DVD+R

i've used the non-printable maxells with these codes in the past, excellent media made by hitachi for maxell in japan...i hope these printables are just as good (first time with Maxell printables)

No sweating about those Maxell-002-00 full hub printables. Very fine quality media doc! Your burner will love them!

thanks saugmon for the reassurance, i don't think i will have ANY issues with these, i've used plenty - ie. read: few hundred of both the MID coding of MXLRG03 & MAXELL002 of the non-printable Maxell media by Hitachi MIJ; these should be no different :) i'm not a big "printable" guy, so my inkjet-printable media has been limited to the white + silver inkjet printables by Taiyo Yuden, but now that has changed since i found this deal...have yet to try the Verbatim printables either, maybe that will be next on my list if i can find a good price on them :)

btw, made a "new friend" at my local officedepot, he happens to be the store manager...he did a manual override of these 50-pack spindles to the $15.20 price for the non-printables (to correspond to the sale price in the flier), you can imagine how pleased i was with this particular "hook up" :) i have yet to see ANY good quality inkjet printables fall to the $0.30/piece range locally OR online~

these 50-pack spindles actually rang up at the register @ $41.99/50-pack...GOOD LORD!!!

kivory666- Looks like you drew aces on that hand doc! I managed to make a verbatim 16X dvd+r score @ bestbuy this week . went looking for the Sony sale 100Ct. DVD+R /DVD-R $29.99 was interested in getting the MIJ's if they had'em but ALL Taiwans . But spied some 50ct. spindles of the verbatims in a cubbyhole for$14.99 ea. picked up two spindles & went up front , The cashier tried to charge me full price But I told her they were marked $14.99 ea. we went to the display & she pulled the price label off the display and went back to the register ! I got them at the sale price but had to fill out paperwork ect. And the cashier was none to happy but I was. Perhaps I should have grabbed more but I've been buying more media lately & anyways The same verbatims are on sale again this week so I could always go back later ! Glad you cleaned up on the maxells & Networking with the manager Seems like a good Idea ! it worked out well for anyways ! Good luck Doc enjoy your Maxells & Happy Burning ! Doc Ty: I got some maxell +8x full hub inkjet printables from a walmart clearance. These ran about 32 cents each,so I picked up their last 6 -25 pk spindles. All japanese!,but maxell does have taiwanese inkjet printable spindles for both formats.

it's a really great feeling when a plan goes through w/ media purchases locally, after some "search and destroy" tactics hehe.

glad to see both of you are making out very well on your local hunting trips for media as well~

may you both have continued success finding media WAYYYY back hidden on the shelf or the convenient price label to pull off the shelf, the occasional clearance never hurts either, but here for me, i haven't been so lucky :)
