Right and it's not that it's specificaly illegal, although I still wouldn't call up Bill and tell him wat wonderful mods I'm making, but the process that you have to do in order to do so is. So in a sense yes modding Halo 2 is illegal only because of the things you have to do to the Xbox in order to do so.

ok buddy here so there is no stupidness 14yo,me, mods halo 2 on xbox. OK? alright well modding old maps so Possible but the way to do it without hardmodding your xbox to get on Xbox live with softmodding is to HAVE YOUR OWN MODDED HALO 2 DISC!! Only way and making your own is against the law $250,000 fine LAW: COPYRIGHT BREACH! Idiot! i no more than u do and i dont have to research because i actually go out and do this stuff. The NOT Illegal way is FTP'n Halo 2 over to the E:/Games w/out Campaign maps for Standard HD. And it works. The reason it works on Connect and stuff is because they dont have the Security that XBL has so next time you try to Dis me out DO SOME RESEARCH!!!! N00B! AIM-alexbreezy

very possible, if using misc/copy game disc doesn't work, FTP your box, have the game in the box but not active, FTP all the files in your d drive to your computer, now under the e drive make a folder called Games. if one is already there use that, FTP all the game files from your computer to this folder. start your box up again and go to your dash, under the main menu option games there is your copied game.

okay got you there thanks, but where in the E folder do i put them. for example, when messing with halo 2 maptacular maps. you find them in E, TDATA, and them in those folders. do i want to put files from the disc on there or, somewhere else?

oh yeah if you want the new maps from the pack, get them outta tdata and add them to your maps folder under halo2, which is in the Games folder, which is on the Edrive.

okay so I have a modded xbox. I want to mod old maps on live, and from wat I've read you need your modded dash to come up every time you start your box. I don't know how to do this. my first xbox did it but I f****k that one up and got a new one so if you could help that would be "apreciated". oh and if u know a good tut on how to mod old maps on live other than se7ensins tell me cause I'm banned from there thanks to my freind.

hey i got it to work, i have the killtacular map pack on my HDD and it freaking ROCKS!!! 49 maps! oh yeah the reason the game wouldnt load from my HDD was because i was retarded and forgot to transfer over the TEXT, after that it worked just fine!

yeah i've heard that you can't get them to work without out the yelo-trainer, and i've heard that you can download some with it working. But from what i've seen the yelo-trainer thing isn't that easy to use.
