erm well private trackers a registerd trackers which require you to share or else you just cant download from em plus they give ya great speeds , public are sites that dont require them and in my oppinion are dangerous. what site you with, isit torrents yea?

mate stay away from them , im with torrentleech.com its a great site man and bitsoup.org which is not bad . torrentleech you have to wait for registrations to be come available they only let a certain ammount be part of the community at the one time although i heard you can give people invitations so if i knew how to do it id give you 1 and get you started. same with bitsoup.org . Btw while your using those torrentportal and bittorrent sites i reccomend you use peerguardian 2 (PG2) google it and download it , it stops any unwanted ips connecting to you and prevents you getting caught up in that thing i told you about that guy earlier. torrentleech and sites like that are private sites their much safer to use than the 1s your using now. also if you wana be real safe download hide ip platinum from torrentspy or summit like that ( thats public) and you only use that when your not surfing the web but your like downloading torrents or summit. it masks your ip as a tokyo address or something like that but when you surf member exit it or you wont get your browser working correctly
