yeah,this game looks really great,the gameplay vids are not as good as teh e3 ones and screens,but nevertheless look great..well sort of..to be honest,i don't like ww2 games.i'm more into modern combat shooters and call of duty 3 looks just like call of duty 2 with a better engine...

ok i am a huge WW2 buff, and have played probably every major ww2 fps ever made. COD, and COD2 abosultly amazing. But who ever is saying that this game looks AMAZING is joking themselves. When i first saw the videos and screens for this game i dont think i have ever been so disappointed in my life. the jump in graphics from the first to the second was impressive, and we should expect that again. this game looks like a expansion, barely an update from 2. and if your going to ask me "what more could they do" well just wait. look at Brothers in arms: hells highway, and MOH: Airborne, there are some games that are actually trying to set the bar. Really disappointed call of duty, for shame.

well iv think iv being tricked into thinking the grapics on call of duty 3 are good :(
at e3 mos games were showing in game fottage and i oviousllly got it mistaked with call of duty 3 so the rapics are cgi generated and the real game grapics are really bad :(
but yeah brother in arms looks really good and even medal of honur airborn is good. cant wait for them games.

yea even thought there is no screens or actually game play videos for MOHA the concept of the game sound very interesting. Apperently the maps are wide open not linear at all, and you even get to direct youre paratrooper when jumping so it sounds like they could deliever a unique exprience, because thats what this genre needs.

yeah true but 2 people would be awsome.
they must find a way to send the smallest amount of data for each person in the lobby.
and have you heard that activision are making a 16 people in a xbox live lobby update for call of duty 2 soon :)

NONONONONONO all of you dont know anything. COD 3 is a huge jump. It is the first proper 360 fps game. The graphics are the best i have every seen on the 360 and they are a hell of a lot better than cod2. They almost look weirdly real as if they are real life, especially on a 40 inch hd tv (hehe). This is a must have game.

well i have Call of Duty 3 and i am half way through it and i can say its 10 times better than the 2nd one and alot better both graphics especially in hi-def and game play and alot better than most of you percieve.
it is a lot tougher than COD2 thats for sure and yes the graphics engine has changed but it has been touched up with alot more added features,new weapons and faster gameplay.pictures and videos never do a game justice and if your really unsure about it then a rental would be your first choice,but this game is worth a purchase easy and i havent put it down yet no matter how many times i get shot,blown to bits or ran over it still makes you want to play.
Treyarch have done a better job than they did with Spiderman but then i dont think Spiderman games have ever been any good,they may have struck a bad chord with that franchise but i think they have redeemed themselves totally with a fine game..but its not as good as Gears of War which i am 15% through and that blows any xbox360 game out of the water..that game will be the game of the year i guarantee.
enjoy Call of Duty 3 ...its an excellent "should be in your collection" game

just completed both Fear and Call of Duty 3 and they are both solid games,i enjoyed COD3 a little more because its non stop action all the way where as Fear tends to lack it in places.but i am looking forward to playing it all over again but will try suicide and go for the hard mode..my top 3 games at the moment have to be in order..
1.Gears of War (10/10 gobsmacking beauty)
2.Call of Duty 3 (realism,class and huge playability)
3.Fear (easily as good as pc if not better)
can the xbox 360 do much better than this except maybe Assassins Creed and the upcoming Lost Planet

i thought the graphics for Fear on my Samsuing lcd in hi-def looked good enough,yeh ok it was not on par with games like Gears of War but then theres not much out there at the mo that is..but the gameplay was good enuf,and i prefer a decent game with good gameplay over a game thats graphically nice and sucks..take The Outfit for example now that just plain sucked ass but wasnt too bad graphically,but if it moved any slower the 360 would of froze up.

Ya... graphics could've been alot better. No better than the pc version was. Very disappointing. FEAR is an ok game... but cod3 beats it by a mile.

the reason i say teh grpahics are bad is it seems they dont even have teh idea of linear prespective down.. and how to make things look like its in 1st person. EXAMPLE: In teh beagining when ur in HQ without gun or anything the screen is scqeed and distorted, i thought it was trying to portary the chnaratcer as disorginated or drunk but it was just that way! WOW UNBLIAVLE SHIITY!

yea, im having the same problem as CODguy....i can find matches and all, but it wont join them. it just says no game sessions are available, which really sucks, i wanted to play some multiplayer and see how it is. so any help would be greatly appreciated.

yeah i talked to someone today that said teh same thing- trouble finding COD3 games online!

no, i dont think its trouble finding games online, there are plenty of ppl playing, its just trouble connecting to the game lobbies. because when it searches for games, it will show a bunch of them, with varies amounts of ppl in then, like 5/24, 16/24,23/24 ect. but when you hit the button to join that game, it just pops up saying cant find game session.

hello
i sometimes have problems joining multiplayer matches but whats really annoying is that in both single and multi-player matches my console freezes alot, i have to turn it off and restart it ever time is does this which is a pain in the ass. ive already exchanged the game once but the new game does it too, its the only game that does it so shouldnt be the console and i dont fancy being without it for 3 weeks.
anyone else having problems with this?

I am having a lot of grief with COD3 as well. I try to join a game, says none avail. yet 10 of my friends are online playing multiplayer. most of my friends in the UK/Germany are having very little issues re this. Could it be the US server issue? Also, I have found the lobby to be very disappointing and find it a major inconvenience to have to start a game before I can invite my friends to it. That is, presuming I can get in to create the game half the time. I agree the game is gorgeous to look at, but what is the point having allies in the full game when you cant play them online. May as well have said the US won WWII by itself.... rant done...
