ummm y do you need this to start up a ps1 backup?

Like the old playstation you dont need to mod it to play backups heres the video if you dont believe me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lv00atCqqho

Ive herd you can do this on the slimline version of ps2.

So what you do is get a original ps1 game (any) and put it into your playstation, it should speed up then slow down, when it slows down quickly put your backup in there. The backup should speed up, then slow, swap again, then when this disc speeds up and its past the playstation screen (black screen) take it out and put the backup in there as FAST as you can. Then it will boot.

You have to keep the playstation lid open though, i dont own a slimline so i dont know where to jam it. But on the psx its at the back a rubber button (got to keep that jamed with sumthing). On ps1 its at the front where you eject, jam it with paperclip. There must be something on the ps2 slimline where you can jam it.

I've tried gameshark by this method it dont work but you wouldnt need it anyway to boot the games up, can boot with a orginal game (ps1 demos work gd)

p.s. on ps1 games you can also use a thing called pal4u, it turns NTSC games to PAL or the other way round :)

ok he idea is to play back up ps1 on my ps2 sorry
i ant oing out to buy a consle

anyways i have the big ps2
and is better then slim because more games work on it
i seen the slim it cant boot some games
