Why on earth would anybody with any knowledge want to call any music crap, the biggest insulters I found are are mostly heavy metal, punkers and last but not least rappers, so I quess maybe thats your thing, or not, but really who cares, whatever it is enjoy it.

@naldo76 - i've never heard of the Almond Brothers or Allman Brothers, whichever it is... but let's be careful otherwise this thread will nosedive quickly (all music threads do, especially when 'rap' gets mentioned). Anyways, i myself like a wide range of music, in my early teens i liked Jean Michel Jarre, by my late teens i was into loads of Heavy Metal (had only moved on from Jarre/other music i liked before metal only for a year or two i guess) then i started mellowing and listening to all my old music too. Now i'm on the nicer side of 40 i still like the Metal/Rock/some pop (only some old pop) i used to like as a nipper, and all in one sitting ie i tend to play MP3's on shuffle mode, either at home or in the car, one track would be Black Sabbath, the next could be Jean Michel Jarre. Works for me, as i say i was only 'blinkered' in my musical taste/views for a year or two when i first got into Metal. I guess most people's fave music is from a younger age in their life, i see aabbccdd always mentions tunes from the 60's/70's, i myself prefer music from the 60's/70's and 90's (not a great deal of current mucis); in the 80's i did like a fair bit of the music in the charts at the time but i no longer like a lot of it now, it just couldn't stand the test of time i guess. Hence why the music from 60's/70's and 90's are my all-time listening

LOL, yeah I kinda smiled a little about somebody not knowing who the Allman Bros. are, but bieng from England I can understand, actually I dont think I can ever recall if they even traveled outside the US, but anyway, if you can remember Cher marrying a rock star some years ago, that was Greg Allman, he's the head of the band, years ago he had a brother named Duane, who'm many pro guitarists till this day still consider him what would have been the greatest slide guitarist of all time, but unfortunatly he got killed in a motorcycle accident I think in the late 60's or early 70's, if you like the blues which is my favorite music or southern rock they are hard to beat, they still tour today, every march they play at the Beechwood teather in NYC.
aabbccdd, I dont know if you know it, but they did lose Dickie Betz, I was heart broken, but, the replacement is thier drummer Butch Trucks nephew a young kid, I bought thier latest DVD Live at Beechwood with him in it and let me tell you that kid rocks, almost reminded me of Duane, he was unreal, these guys are in thier late 50's now and still pack every house they go to, they still tour the country but to get a ticket it's a years wait.

yes i knew that .Dicky has been gone for quite some time now but the band still marches on without him. i meet Dicky one time and his a dick in person lol. but egos run high in rock and roll. one of the nicest guys in rock and roll is Sammy Hagar his a everyday person you can sit down and talk with about anything. great guy
