I personally will be glad that way if they do get a way to block modders. People cant cheat anymore.
The only reason ppl mod in matchmaking is so they can get a BIG #
next to their name
ive never cheated on XBL and im a LEGIT level 42

you think with a name lik kennymod you would be on the modders side but that's beside the point there's no cheating with the firmware mode just backups

Apparently Live is back! Just the site which is still down.
People are still playing online with backups. Looks ok for now. Theres a rumour however that MS are waiting for lots of people to come online. THEN BAN! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Woz is right , Update was'nt Harmfull to Xtreme FW. :) P.S. I would wait to play MP on a Backup Disc though!, Wait a day or two.... "I play SP on the 360 and play MP on PC, So I'm good there I hope for now."

I've just read on another forum that someone with the firmware hack on the XBOX1 has been banned.

Ppl with xbox1 fw were banned ages ago, this has nothing to do with what happened here.

Sorry but I didn't know that to be honest. The other people from the other forum didn't seem to know that had happended either. I.E. They thought the user was telling lies and asked him to prove it! Obviouisly a little slow on this matter!
I posted it here because it was about firmware hacks and as the xbox1 got found out I thought it may have been of some use. I wont bother next time.
