You need a bios to run the gpsp emulator, roms are totally different you have no need to change their extension, just put them into the ROMS folder within GPSP, if the folder isnt there make it yourself.

There has been a number of compliants about the pokemons not working, it could be due to their file size, but some games are not compatible anyway mate.

Are you sure you're in emulated firmware 1.5?
Go to Settings-->System Settings-->System Information and check if it says firmware 1.5.

1. Downgrade your firmware 2.00 PSP to firmware 1.5, check this guide:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/psp-downgrade.php
2. Once you have downgraded to firmware 1.5, download this GBA Emulator:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/897
And also find a copy of a GBA BIOS and rename it to gba_bios.bin
3. Now extract gpSP_kai_25.rar and then extract gpSP_kai_25_15.zip . Then copy the gpSP and gpSP% folders to X:\PSP\GAME (where X is the drive letter of your PSP). Copy the gba_bios.bin to X:\PSP\GAME\gpSP\.
4. Now go to GAME-->Memory Stick and select gpSP_KAI_25 and the emulator should start.

Thanks man but I´ve already tried that for the 11th time and everytime I try to copy the overflow.tif file my computer shows an error it says that it cant find the specified file. Can anyone tell me of a gba emulator that will work using the GTA UMD eloader method? I´ve tried the pspgba and pspvba but they are just to slow. I´ve read that the gpsp is the best there is but I just cant get it to work what should I do?

Try format your memory stick (after backing up anything important). Then try copying the overflow.tiff again.
You dont have to use a GTA UMD. You can also use the TIFF eLoader. Download that from here:
http://files.fanjita.org/psp/eloader0995.exe
Just put your PSP in USB Mode and run that. Then follow steps 2 & 3 that I posted before. Then go to PHOTO-->Eloader and the eloader will start and you can then run gpSP.
