Toroto is nice, you never really appreciate where your from until you leave it for a while. Lived in Boston area for 5 months and really noticed the difference. Boston (is smaller and pop smaller) but still managed to be dirty. Toronto is the only city in the world that I have seen a homeless person siting on the side walk, get up pick up a piece of trash off the road and through it in a waste bin.
Oriphus, your crazy. Sit down and let your foot heal.

man Oriphus, dont screw around with that ankle! a few years back i was riding a 10 ft half pipe and catching an average of 8ft of air, i hung up a sweet judo air on the way back in and it sent me straight to my shoulder. thats 18ft straight to the shoulder, well i felt the crack but didn't think it was that serious so i kept skating and 5 minutes later i did it again, same air, same hang-up, same shoulder. well this time my right clavical shot thru my skin and was sticking out of the top of my chest. so my buddy made me a duct tape sling and drove me to the hospital. after they yanked on it for a while to try and get it back in place they just gave me morphine and a sling and sent me home. i was laid up for 2 months and didn't skate again for another 6 months. well after i got all healed up and stuff, my shoulder on the right was 1/2 inch farther in than my left shoulder, no biggie, i managed just fine. but last summer, 5 years after the broken collarbone, i blew a disc in my neck and lost function of my left arm totally, and 50% of my right arm. they said it blew out as a result of my collarbone being offset and throwing my neck out of whack. sooooo, after 8 months of therapy, chiropractors, xrays, and CT scans, they finally decided i needed surgery. now i have $5000 woth of titanium plates holding my vertebra together and a cadaver bone where the bad disc used to be, but from my neck being messed up for 8 months i guess i was all hunched over all the time which blew out 3 discs in my lower back, so now i get the joy of having a needle shoved in the base of my spine every month or 2 to try and kill the inflammation, and i live on pain killers. noone of this would have happened if the dr that did my collarbone would have checked me out more thoroughly., the moral of the story is if you have an injury, deal with it like it's life threatening or close, you never know what it could lead too. hell with these plates in my neck, if i twist my neck too hard either direction, i could just drop where i stand and be paralysed from the neck down!! yes that would suck. so until then, i just live on pain killers and watch what i do, no more skating the big ramps either. so dont screw around with an injury man, i'm living proof it can lead to a life of hell. (and you guys wonder why i'm so grouchy all the time!)

Sounds from the bruising that you've done your tendons in, in which case you'll be spending a lot of time on your arse. But on the bright side you should be able to make addict over the next couple of weeks ;)

Darthnip, sounds really sore, feel for you man :-)
Toronto? My mate flies to there every year to see his uncle and he loves it. His uncle lives a wee bit out of the city though, has an estate with 40,000 acres of woodland and lake all to himself. He is the CEO of one of the big oil companies out there, not sure which one. His surname is Murphy i think. Anyway he really loves Toronto and the pictures he has shown me are really good.

Praetor, Ireland is one of the most expensive places to live in Europe at the moment. It is bad for pollution in the cities aswell!

Toronto`s not that bad. THe TTC (tronto transit commision) is pretty bad, but it the only one without fedral funding. Compared to California, Toronto has no polution. There is smog here but our numbers are like 50 to 70. In Mexico the average day is 135 ish on the smog charts. The skies here are not orange yet, but getting there.

Ya it is cool a lot of the time. One of the few places that I know of that has -40C winters and +37 days in the summer. I would really like to visit Ireland. My mom is half Irishish (her mom`s side). I really get a pro Irish thing from her.

The funny thing about US and Canadians is that they never really say the are From canada. I typically tell people I am made of German, Irish, Scotish and English. But my English came over in 18xx, and I am really third generation Canadian by family name. Only the citizens that are first generation are the most adiment about being Canadian or American. I am both (mother is American, father Canadian) so I fight both sides.
Oriphus, how is the ankle today? I hope that you are either ice or heat treating it (depends on your body preference).

The answer is you elect Chretien, he goes on ski holidays and does nothing. Also we get taxed like crazy to pay off every thing and make chretien look good by lowering the deficit to nothing. I am a big Chretien fan can you tell! The US elects Bush, and if you don`t like it he will invade you! Got to love North America politics.
