when you first use X-Flash, it prompts you to install POC, so thats what he has done.

bad luck dude. What if you try what you do when your gameboot is stuffed. Hold the backscreen lighting button on the PSP when the BSOD is about the appear.

is there any 1.5 umd i can use to do anything to the firmware, again i cant do anything on the menu so i cant upgrade

what a wonderful community afterdawn is ,kudos to all members ,happy x - mas to all ,people do try and help you if they can .an excellent site to be part of ,hope your psp is not that ill to be recovered .running .51 hook with a 1.5 , will not let me install the 1.5 recovery bit .start and r button .good tidings to all .if in wrong bit plz move to relevant bit .too much carling and bacardi & coke

There is nothing you can do. Unless you have a UMD writer (which cost 3 time as much as a PSP) and swap the eboot.bin and boot.bin on the UMD so it loads the update and not the game. Anyway, you should try getting the mod chip.

well for us in hong kong we can just go to the retail shop and fix it
but the price here is like 150 to 400 hong kong dollars that is us22 to 58dollars.but they said that to buy a new one instead.coz fixing it is a waste of money

sorry if in wrong bit ,got a few games would like to copy original UMD copy/dump to pc and then make an iso .what do i need to copy me original psp games ,newb at this one ,got fw 1.5 and hook 3.02 ,still lost in all the good stuff

Download fastloader from here:

Insert your UMD and then run fast loader and you will be able to dump it into your memory stick.

I have the recovery mode but when i selected the last option ten it wont go to the recovery mode now!

ok i got a new psp, it has 2.6 firmware but it has the ta-082 motherboard, is there anything i can do to downgrade or get homebrew back on
