another question, is there a reason why i cant use IE now? Says im missing a file, i google'd the file and it said that file was a trojan.

lol, nvm on the IE6 problem, got that fixed. I havent been able to change my desktop, its a blue screen and wont let me change it. GRRR

Properties - Desktop - Customize Desktop - Web . Uncheck everything that is related to " Security " or something like that, please tell me what you can find.

there is nothing in there checked. On my desktop page, all the different options are greyed out, cant even use the slide bar. BTW, i have an app in my quick launch bar, havent clicked on it, "start 1stantivirus" is the name. And..lol...Antivir PC keeps picking up Trojan's.

Kaspersky On-line Scanner

When you are prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files
When the files finish downloading click on NEXT
Now click on Scan Settings
In Scan Settings make sure that the following are selected:
Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
Extended (if available otherwise Standard)

Scan Options:

Scan Archives
Scan Mail Bases

Click OK

Now under select a target to scan:
Select My Computer
This program will start and scan your system.
Online scan can take a long time to complete and the time is impacted by the speed of your internet connection. Be patient and let it run. It is best not to do anything else while the scan is running. This will help it to complete faster.
When the scan has completed, it will display whether your system has been infected or not
Click on the Save as Text button:
Save the file to your desktop or another folder where you can locate it later.
Attach this file to your next message.

You could have refromated your hard drive and installed your OS 5x by now and had a clean machine with alot less work. I know you did't want to hear this, just my 2 cents worth I guess sometimes it just fun to chase down these things, I've done it too. Good luck LOL

ok, i deleted those, everything seems to run fine but i still cant change my desktop. Oh and another thing i wanted to ask, i dont know why when i reboot my pc, it likes to reboot quite a bit w/o my help. It will boot up like regular then when it gets to my desktop and loading things on it, reboots by itself, many times.

And save to the desktop.

1. Double click on combo.exe & follow the prompts.
2. When finished, it will produce a logfile located at C:\ComboFix.txt.
3. Post the contents of that log in your next reply.

I have reinstalled OS to three different PC's reinstalled all the programs they are clean and running like a champ you are still trying to repair the same sick one . Sometimes you must throw in towel. Punt! LOL

Ok why are people telling him to dl Rustbfix(never heard of it) it doesn't even have any info about it at wikipedia. Tbh if you having problems with rustbfix than download AVG free and HijackThis and run them in safe mode with system restore disabled and scan scan scan everything!

Edit have you tried windows repair? Btw that HijackThis log looks much better than it did that from the first log you posted.

Rock this is not being helpfull. All people have reasons for what they do. Let this get by and the hackers win. Killing it helps everybody.
