i bricked my psp like a noob!!!
i installled 3.03 se-b and i didnt read that you needed the se-a version pre installed and so im f**ked!
nooo! can anyone help!

did you try the down grader it should work if u dint brick it to bad
im asumeing u at least had oe 3.02 a or b

guys! right when i turn my psp on my mem stick led keeps flashing meaning its tryna read summat
so a as a favour can anyone fully upload their working 3.03 se(a or b)
eg. like all the files needed and then tell me where to place

its not going to work the memory stick light tends to light up and turn off like that it happened to my system 2 the best u can do is get a firmware eboot put it in a UPDATE folder and test your look on the recovery mode

It goes in PSP/GAME/RECOVERY and you should have a 1.50 update renamed to UPDATE.PBP in there too, to get you back to 1.5
Good to see a lot of the old schoolers back, is anyone still 1.5? Or have we all gone OE?
Anyone else miss prx swapping? lol :-)

I do! I do! I remember the excitement of buying a brand new game (b/c I've always tried to be legit and in doing so, I have had to rip all my own Isos.) and ripping it, wondering if the prx swapping was going to work. At the time, we could only emu 2.50 and I remember swapping 2.50 prx files out w/ a 2.60 game and they always worked. I was one of the first ones here to be able to play Splinter Cell on a 1.50 b/c I had a 2GB stick and most ppl wanted the rip kit version, but the rip kit version ALWAYS made the game crash. It worked just fine w/ the prx files swapped, but DevHook v0.42a was only good for about 10 saves on Splinter Cell. After that, the game would crash and it would corrupt your savefile. I had to bounce my saves.
I must say, I don't really miss 1.50 at all. I LOVE OE. I never thought I would upgrade - ever. But it's great. I'm in prx heaven and I've got the sweetest topmenu I've ever seen. :D
But yea, it's great see everyone here.
Whatever happened to Thirst? lol

Haven't been on this site for a few months, but what is this 3.03b or a that your talkin about. I have a 1.5, is that still the "best" firmware?
