Usually is, lol.

Doesnt expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected and therefore mean youre expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?

OK, kinda mad now.
I reinstalled the firmware and tried to connect... Failed.
Recovered to 1.5 and tried... Failed.
Reinstalled back up to 3.03OE-C and tried again... Failed.
Opened up all security on the router!... FAILED!
At this point im pretty convinced its the PSP thats jacked up.

EDIT- BTW, I made a brand new setting after opening up the routers security and everything but it still failed^

Do you still have the block on certain MAC Addresses?

Explain in more detail exactly what you did.

My router is not set to block MAC addresses. All I should have to do is type in the WEP key and it should allow access. However, it wont connect nomatter what. I cant really explain in detail accept that I did everything I was supposed to do and it just doesnt want to work. Man, I wish I had my old one. I think im gonna have to take it back to costco AGAIN. At least it is costco though. Free, never ending, unconditional returns. Heck, im pretty sure you can take back opened software!

I did. Thats what I meant by cutting all security and it still wouldnt connect. I think its just a stuborn * TA-082 factory 2.5(that didnt come with crap except a battery, charger, and manual which nobody ever reads) non original 1.5(that came with headphones, remote that I actually used for extending the headphones, 32MB stick for simple stuff, etc. etc.)

EDIT- My original was a value pack and my new one is just a stupid core pack.

EDIT... again- I think I might take it back and exchange it for the entertainment one but then I have to worry about firmware version...

OK OK I C now. that is very very odd u might just have one of these weird items. Come to think of it now I had this one PSP that would connect to the net fine but would't play games over ad-hoc or infrastructure. While my G/F's PSP sitting right next to me had 0 problems.

I wish I had my 1.5:(

EDIT- I know you wouldnt think so, but you can actually develop a bond with a piece of electronics.

EDIT again- I use the edit function alot huh? I think maybe I should just pause for a sec before posting to let any other thoughts come before so I dont have to keep doing the edit thing...
