Does anyone know if the UMD runs fine or do you need to make the same changes to get it to run?

I was having issues getting the actually UMD to run. I went into recovery mode and changed the CPU speed and now it runs and plays. BUT - I have no background music. Anyone else with this issue off the UMD?

What did you set the speed to? I heard at 333 the sound wouldn't work and 266 works the best...

Can you play infrastructure network mode with the UMD? It doesn't work of the ISO. Some say it is the DarkAlex Firmware but I don't know if it's with ISO or UMD or both?

I was running at 333 - I changed it to 266 and we have background music. Thanks! I was just using the plugin that allowed you to play MP3's in the background of you game, but it was slowing some gameplay.

I'm not having any luck. I selected infrastucture and the screen dims and stays that way. Sorry.

Just curious but if you run your PSP at 266 is there any slowdown on the game or anything? I read that Size Matters speed changed back & forth. If you run it at 266, do you notice any slowdown or pop-in/lag issues?

The only thing I noticed was that it had a longer load time when booting the game. And maybe some lag around cut scenes...

"black screen" um, i'm runnign on 3.03oe-A and when i go into the recovery, under the option "CPU Speed" all there is when i enter, are the words "No yet"...does this mean i can't change my speed to 333 to run this iso? or do i have to upgrade to 3.10 first

Hello everyone. I upgraded to 3.10 OE-A in order to change CPU speed, I did and now, instead of black screen, I get error 80020321, with both 266 and 333 speeds. This was with ISO of R&Clank. Any help will be appreciated!

As an FYI, I couldn't get this game to run from an ISO under 3.03 OE-C, I assumed the ISO rip was bad. I rented the game tonight and I still had the exact same problem. I already had "no-umd" disabled and was running default UMD clock speeds.
As suggested in the replies, I upped the clock speed to 333mhz, and the game runs just fine now from the UMD. My assumption is that this will be the same case for the ISO as well.
