Ok well this is how mine is...
there 2 slots on the motherboard - both where taken
- one for the pc's hardrive
- one for the cd-rom
so i took out both wires (IDE i think its called and one with a few colors
i then plugged the IDE wire from the Pcs hardrive into the xboxs harddrive
and then kept the other the same (in the pc's cd-rom drive)
bow

yeh thats how mine is.
so i guess its something else that is stopping the program from finding the hardrive?
any idea?
the only thing i can think of is if you are suppose to change the bios?
because i cant get in there
Sry please hang in there once i get it to recognise im sure it will be smooth sailing
