ah i see, you wanna rip your umd. Well in that case you could use some iso ripper. Or something like isobuster. Google that. Also if you manage to get it ripped to iso formatt, consider compressing it to CSO formatt. Ahem that's all i can do for you ndrew other than that i have no idea how to rip umds. However, if you're really need help I can research for you!
Isobuster isn't the only one. I remember that there were way more than that, but i think it takes care of umd ripping.
EDIT: oh wait! i don't think isobuster does that kinda thing, you will need ripkit to rip the iso image off your umd. I don't really see the trouble of getting a torrent of a site of the game that you own. I think if you do that it will save you a lot of trouble. If you are in need of any torrent sites, pm me.
Thanks to DvDBack23 for my sig!

Hey guys i need some help. My firmware is 3.03OE-C and i am trying to play a cso. I know the cso works becuase other people have had success playing it. I have put the cso in an iso folder i created on the root of my psp but the file isn't under the memory stick. I seem to have other files under my memory stick, two are corrupt files and the other files are: SystemParam, NandDumper, Polyphonic Sample, Kernal Dumper, Cube Sample, IplDumper & Psp Netwrok Config Backup. What do i do with these files?
Thanks.

Delete those files. I got 3.10oea and the only files I have are PSP games, MP4s, PS1 games, photos, and MP3s. I don't know why u can't play the CSO under ISO folder on the root of your MS, it should work unless something wrong with your file or something wrong with your firmware.

if youre in 3.10 OE-A or 3.03 OE-C go into recovery, and disable the noUMD option...

I KNOW THE ANSWER TO MOST OF THE PROBLEMS HERE ( i think )
I,ve been fafin around for ages trying to get iso's to load on my 3.03 oe-c psp and only a few would work. I tried with and without a umd in the drive on all of my "backup" iso's and cso's ( i even tried converting them cso>iso or iso>cso )
I've just realised that the umd I had been using to load the games is a movie ( The Mighty Boosh!!! ) and that it might be the reason for the games freezing on a black screen seconds after launching. (cant belive it took me 3 months to figure out!!!!...NOOOOOB!)
SO..I borrowed a game from a friend (patched gta-lcs), disabled no-umd in the recovery menu and budda bing budda boom it woiked! ...........ALL OF MY ISO's n CSO's ... WORK!!
However, dont trust me , I totaly bricked my friends psp today (full BASTARD brick) and dont ask me how, cos i dont know.... ive had 9 successful downgrades in order to upgrade with multipal psp's (2.xx > 1.50 > 3.03 oe-c ) had a few semi's (recoverd them easily) and today, I lost my virginity to a brick!!!!! OUCH!
If your a PSP n Mac OS x user , email me for a chat

C'mon dude, don't be lazy! Do a bit of research.... after all, it's even mentioned in the 6th post of this thread. Assuming you actualy have a custom firmware (which you should) .....
Put it here
x:/PSP/GAME/ (create a new folder which you can call anything you want) / (put both the eboot and keys of the game into this folder)

hey, ive tried loading a need for speed carbon cso on my psp. ive made the iso folder and i put the cso in there. ive enabled the no-umd setting in recovery yet when i try to load the cso, it gives me the little white psp loading scrren then after about two seconds it takes me back to xmb and says game could no be started and it gives me some numbers. ive evn tried putting a umd in the slot, but nothing seems to work. byt the way, i have two isos working(socom ftb2 online only, need for speed underground rivals) perfectly, and ive also tried a medal of honor heroes cso that also didnt work. is there something that im not doing?

hey decent, go into recovery (hold down right shoulder button when you turn it on) then go to configuration then set the kernal access to 1.50 kernal, , , i think that should work ,
oh and make sure you have the homebrew in the correct homebrew folder, ie if its a homebrew that has 2 files ( same names but one has a % next to it ) then put that in game150 folder , if it has 1 file, put it in game folder ( i think )
