Re-author,main movie only.Click on the compression tab. Leave AC3 5.1 ch English ticked. Untick everything else unless you need subtitles-Babel/The Protector/etc.
Use dvd shrink's frame start/frame end to get rid of some beginning and ending bullcrap.
Dual Layer-unless it's a newer encryption: Rip with DVD Decrypter,Mode,ISO read to harddrive-remember where those files go.
Open up ImgBurn, locate the mds files from your HD,Open,OK,set burn speed, and burn away.
Late last year,I saw lots of sales(Compaq,Emachines) with an Athlon 3000+/3400+,80-120 gbs HD,dvd-rom,512 mbs ram from $300-$400 after rebate. All these pcs are going with vista,so the price is probably higher now,but should still be around $400?
Thanks for the reply....
As you've probably read, I have no problems backing up my movies. It's just when I use the quality settings it took a while.
By the way, I am a fan of backing up with DVDFab, VobBlanker and Shrink. Never ever had a problem until the Saw III fiasco which was quickly corrected.
Thanks again!!!
FORUMS R GREAT!!!!!

That's a lofty achievement for a P3 with one of the smaller processors. I can't help but think of the computer time and power consumption that could have been saved with a more up to date PC. I suspect the power savings alone would have gone a long way towards purchasing a more up to date unit.

Is that why my electric bill is so f*&^@!% high???? (LOL)
And to add, I only shut it off once a week because it takes sooooo long to boot up!
They say using fewer watts helps lower the utility bill. Just think how many watts that PC used setting there pulling everything it could doing those 600 backups.
