If you want my opinion, try to upgrade to 3.10 OE with me :D that way, we can get PSP ISOs and PSX games!
I'm thinking of getting:
Resident Evil 3
Chrono Cross
Legend of Dragoon
FF IX
Pending for PSX games
BTW, just recommending a few PSP ISOs for you:
#1.)Ratchet and Clank: SM or X-men Legends 2
#2.) Spiderman 2
#3.) Marvel Ultimate Alliance

Hope I'm not too late, haven't been on in a while. Anyway, the only way to have No-UMD mode is to have a custom firmware. 3.xx OE firmwares all have No-UMD mode BUT not all games work with No-UMD mode enabled. Devhook has No-UMD mode but its crap, if you want to make sure that all games work, its better to have a UMD.

hey i found a sit eon how to upgrade to devhook .52 which emulates 3.03 i don't think thats exactly what u want but it works fine heres the link:

Little tip, for the first download link copy the name of the file and then click on it, it should say the page is loaded but nothing shows up. So erase everything but www.dl.qj.net and in the search bar paste the name of the file and it should show up.
hope this helps and the 3.03 OE thing i found a site with the files to download but i think they have ver bad instuctions ill track it down if ud like and try and post the URL.

Hey bulls, I upgraded yesterday! After so much friggin hastle, I beat the info out of someone.
Lucky for you, you have a diligent and pithy person to help you... if you have 1.5. But unfortunately if you have 2.6, I can't really help you :(... I'll try looking for you though buddy.
On a side note, I played Resident Evil 1 Director's Cut, and I deleted it... too damn scary for me lol.

Its the same install as 3.02/3.03 OE, and if you didnt have any, well, read the readme. It explains all the steps on how to do it.

Hi, I got devhook on fw 2.71 and I am emulating fw 1.5 using it. But I can not play medal of honors heroes. I followed everything here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/401672 The upgrade to fw 2.71 and the simulation of fw 1.5 went fine. I copied the heroes ISO to the ISO folder on the Mem Stick and followed guide 2 steps. The only thing I got is the wallpaper changed. So can you tell me what to do or which ISO games I can get to work with versions up to 2.71?? Please I need Urgetn help. Have not played a single game since I got my PSP. I did not try the downgrade as I am afraid of bricking it. So I am using DevHook instead.

Hey bon :) lucky timing, I'm super busy today with a science project. Anyways, I'm a little unclear on your situation... do you have version 1.5 as your original version, and 2.71 as your devhook simulation? Or vice versa? If it's the latter, I don't think that i can help you too well, but if it's the first option, I can definitely help you.
No worries man, if worse comes to worse, I'll get my ass in the internet and look up a safe way. I'm here for ya :)

Thank ChaosNova, It is the late unfortunately. I am totally down. Got Sony's Warranty and still 4 months till I am back to the UK :) Is there anyway that I can flash back my PSP. It simply lights the green light and then off and that is it.

Man I'm pissed off like anything! If one of you could help me, I'd rlly appreciate it.
I bought a Joytech Armorlite (which is a skin for the psp), and I asked my sister to put it on, and she put it on upside down. NOW MY FREAKING PSP'S BUTTONS ARE BEING PRESSED DOWN UPON HARD AND THE FREAKING THING WON'T COME OFF, NO MATTER HOW HARD I PRESS UPON IT. I'm really sad! I can't play, and it might cause dmg! I wanna play chrono cross..... wahhhhh

this thread is double-posted.
Take a hammer.Then gently and slow crush the back-sideof the armorlite,dont crush front cuz there is the monitor duh?After a few minutes its should break apart.NOT RESPONSIBLE WHATSOEVER,but you could try it cuz you are in a bad situation.

how do you downgrade from version 2.82. I have tryed a downgrade for a version 2.8 but it gives me a game cant be started (80020248) message and the version is still 2.82. Im fairly new at this but have spent two full days reading I need help please. Thanks

OK, so you downgraded to 1.5, am I correct? Now, I recommend that you get 3.03 or 3,10 OE-A. Here's the link you go to, and BE VERY VERY METICULOUS/CAREFUL WHEN DOING THIS.
Don't be scared, trust me, it's not such a big deal... very easy to handle.
Before I give the link out, tell me your exact version... then I can help you fully

Hello people,
now i know this has been brought up elsewhere but i thought i'd give u guys a chance to explain.
1. i recently downgraded using gta... etc. and it worked!! hooray. however the problem im now presented with is that i have around 10 downloaded iso/cso files and all have worked so far but today i played loco roco then dungeon siege and they did work but since i was at school i had to turn it off, when i tried to play it again i got error message 80020321! what is this?
2. people have been saying you have to have a UMD in the slot to play games from the memory card, is this true? because if so, none of my legitimate UMD discs are loading up as in the psp doesnt show there is one in there. my point is if you do need a UMD in the slot and mine isnt working, is there anything i can download to 'trick' the psp to thinking there is one in there? any help would be most appreciated and id love you if someone can get me and my psp united once more!
