I had the same problems backing this movie up. I was using DVD Shrink with the new AnyDVD in the background then I usually run it through DVD Decrypter. That didnt work. So i checked the forums and i tried RipItForMe. It worked like a charm. I also had FixVTS as well. RipItForMe is a great tool for all the sony releases.

i just used AnyDVD and clone dvd and it worked perfectly, just took a bit longer than using dvdfab and shrink, hope this helps

For what it's worth ?- I did stranger than fiction this way _ Roxio Easy CD &DVD Creator 6 Platinum ! & AnyDVD 6.1.3.0 - I used Roxio's Disc copier Program With AnyDVD Running in the Background ! Whole disc ! menu's extra's ect... I did try shrink first and it errored Out /crashed so I went with disc copier ! - I know that a lot of Afterdawns Members use &or Prefer Nero ! I have that on my laptop ! I'm just more familar with Roxio & already have it on my desktop ! I'm Not saying it's better ! Just putting out the information for anyone else who's already got the program anyways as another way to get around the problem(!OF SONY DVD's )- Hey whatever works right !Good luck with your Burning Desires LOL! & Happy St. Patricks Day Early !

Just curious about something...

I backed up STF, but when I went to search for ArCoSS in pgcedit, it came up with a hit - the exact ending of the film - down to the last second...

After investigating further in Shrink I noticed in the menu part of the disc that there were two features that were also in the extra's, but the difference is the two features in the menu section had no sound.

I ultimately deleted the two features in the menu part of the disc w/VOB Blanker. Also, I watched my back up with extras et all and it played fine... just thought I was raise this odd question to see if anyone else noticed it??
