Thanks for that Oraseth. On the guide it gives instructions on how to upgrade from 1.5 to 3.40. is 3.40 the best fw to go with or should i use another? if so which is best and will the process be the same?
the main reason for changing is because i want to play the newer psp games, play ps1 games and snes games. Will i need 3.40 to be able to do all of this?

Yes you can download ver 3.50 PSP to 1.50 now. 3.50 downgrader.

Yeah that last post was the work of a XXXX. If you didnt want to help you could have not posted anything. Instead you decided to act like an XXX. And w\e trouble you have in real life (ure attitude would make you prone to have few friends) dont act like a jerk on the net. Again if anyone might wanna be helpful please post a reliable source. His post is pretty reliable. Just type in 3.50 downgrader on google, it will be the first link.
Better yet ill just post the link since Google somehow didn't help you find your answer.

People who want to help do it. People who want to be asses act like you. The other person posted the link. If u didnt want to help you couldve just posted nothing instead of acting like and idiot. I can think for myself I just dont know anything about homebrew software and was afraid I might download the downgrader from an unreliable site and brick my PSP.

well if u researched it even a little bit u wouldve seen 500 other forums on this exact same topic, or at least seen the million other links to dl.qj.net. i can imagine wat ur like around ur friends...
