who knows?? You dont know what chip you have, so how could we know? All ps2's play original DVD9 games lol, so you cant use that as a factor. Only way to know is to patch the iso with toxic, burn, then try.

Hmmm, well either way i'll give it a try. And as for dvd5's, isn't it possible to burn both layers separately on each dvd, so u got disc 1 and disc 2, seeing as the game doesn't crash when u eject the cd, so it should work right. Or is it that one can't work without the other, as in the 2nd layer would need content from the first to work or something.

No it is not as simple as seperating laer data and making a 2 disk rip. If you do that, the TOC/lba tables would have to be modified (best explanation I can provide.)
