No crap if i can get a refund I am just gonna get the solder one and have it installed. Hey steimy did you get your chip installed by teammodders if so how long did it take I think I'm gonna go there.

the chip i have now was not. I bought it premodded before i starting meeting the guys at Teammodders. But i had an old V5/6 that i had them install a DMS4 Pro in and a new laser (which i gave to a friend in need) and it is still running strong. I would say it will take about 2 weeks or so. But contact them directly for a estimate. I say this because you have to ship it to them (2-3 days UPS or Priority mail...make sure you get the insurance!!) then they have to process your payment, install the chip and mail it back (another 2-3 days)
It will most likely be installed in California (which is where mine was done)

But it is worth the wait to have it professionally done, and know that if anything goes wrong they will stand behind their work and fix it. The extended warranty (on the install) is pretty cheap so you may want to think about that as well.

I suggest either a Matrix Infinity Green Dot (which is a top choice of the installers) or a Crystal Chip V2.0

Stay away from solderless is right. I bought a pre-modded PS2 two weeks ago. It came in the mail and hey! It didn't work. So I had to send it back. Hopefully they'll have it fixed and sent back to me within the month. Man, my luck sucks. I just want my modded PS2! Right now it's my favorite system, hands down.
