okay, good! part one is done.
Now get the 2.80 downgrader and let it do it's work.
And no, you do not need Azureus per se, you could uninstall it completely and download µ-torrent as well. I have it now, works better, less memory consumption as well...

just click on fulton sig he has the link to the downgrader for 2.71 ta-082 mobo
for other mobo use this downgrader

everything went well and i am currently running 1.5. i'm trying to upgrade to 3.03OE-C and can't find a tutorial. But I'm still looking.

how can u not find a tutorial....go to google and fiddle around with words, like "3.03 oe-c tutorial install upgrade guide" and other stuff
besides there's an easy installer...winstaller...should be in "mod and firmware discussion" section stickies

"fiddle" with words huh? Dude I've been at this for a freaking day. A day! So stab me in the neck if my brain wants to be lazy for 3 seconds. Not to mention that it's pretty much a bowl of Bill Cosby's regurgitated jello.
I've never even touched this stuff ever in my life until 10am this morning. Alot of links lead you to dead ends, expired pages and corrupted files as I'm sure you know. Just because I'm not a "pro" hacker or exceptional with computers does not give you the right to insult my intelligence.

Well actually, we can't always be there to help so maybe sometimes its better to do-it-yourself so you'll know what to do. But that aside, have you read the readme included with 3.03 oe-c? Most people NEVER bother to read it, its there for a reason. The steps are pretty simple so you understand it ;).

you can always just use hex's winstallers. They are sticky'd at the top of the mod a firmware forum. Those make it easy to install 3.03oe-c or 3.10oe-a

I tend to be partial to doing things myself and I DO read the "read me" sections always. It's just that sometimes, being a noob you get stuck or have an issue you've been working on for hours you tend to get impatient. No worries though. Everyone here was incredibly helpful and I'm glad I found this place.
