ok so im following your instructions, but after i right click 'local area conections' i see the 'status' but it is not clickable. you cant click it.

ok I figured out y i cant click 'status' I says the lan is unplugged.
The internet that is up is my wireless network connection

I messed up my internet. I changes the ip to create a static one, and the other computers in the house started saying theres a competing ip on the network and they stoped working. so i changed the ip on the xbox back to the original. What did i do wrong? by the way i clicked the wireless connection thing but my xbox is on a lan connection. Would this make a difference?

every time i share my wireless so my 360 can get it of my lan in my pc other computers can't access my pc anymore!!

does anyone have a solution for that?

Go back to the directions I gave you originally. They say to look at the IP settings of one of your computers, use everything the same, EXCEPT, for the 360, change the last set of numbers in the IP - this way you do not get a conflicting IP address on your network. You probably used the same IP as another computer. Try giving your xbox an IP with all the same settings as your current computer, but change the last set of numbers to something like 235 - so you'll keep all the same settings (xxx.xxx.xxx.234 - xxx = same setting as your current network, for your IP, gateway, and DNS, the numbers in the spot of the XXX must be the same as what you see on another computer) - if you give the xbox 100% all the same settings as another computer you'll bring down your network - like you did.
