I resorted to using 3.10OE-A, as 3.30 and 3.40 POPS did the same in FFVII. It happens only after specific attacks, but it's fucking annoying nonetheless. I had to replay my save though as 3.30+ saves don't work in pre-3.30 firmwares, but whatever :)

i was having this problem. i haven't had the problem for sometime now. i just started the game, loaded a game and when i was in the game i changed the screen mode to original. then i closed the game and restarted it all.

there was 1 part on the cargo boat on disc 1 that right before joneva (or however it's spelt) attacks, there are 3 guards that kept attacking me. once i changed this, i no longer got the problem. i have now been playing for 4-5 hours and not had it happen again.

this appears to have worked for me. if it's not working for others please don't whine about the fix not working. i don't normally read or answer forums ( i do enough of that for work ), i was just looking for a solution to the problem and found this site. i created the account for this 1 post only....
this kinda worked. it reduced the problem alot for me, but it started happening again a few hours after i posted this :(

assuming you are on disc 2=D there is 2 files that is configed for disc 2 to work... replace those files with disc 1 files and an error will occur on start. maybe youve got the magic finger=D

I'm going to try to run ff7 later this evening. But first....does anyone know FOR SURE if someone has ran this with no problems at all?? I know someone mentioned that their friend had no problems, but does that still hold true? Or was it that they just didnt get to that part yet?

Maybe we can get more information from anyone that has been 100% sucessfull. Just a thought.

I'll post my results too....

EVERYONE!

This is important! As it seems that some of you haven't noticed it yet, a fix has been revealed on another thread. I got the green static problem fixed, but since you people still haven't, I'll link you to the other thread where the problem was finally solved: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2/516930#3217983

Oh, and remember to read carefully, since some of them are just attempts. The one about installing popstation is the one that actually worked. HAPPY GAMINGS!
