Yes, but he's still asking if new media would help him, meaning he doesn't comprehend that.

You will either have to use a Slide Card, Flip Top, or Magic Keys/Variation. What PS2 do you have?

if you don't want to put a mod chip in or a flip top on, then the slide card and swap discs are for you.

asking questions that have been answered well over a thousand times on this forum alone will get you a pretty bad reputation.

can someone answer my 3 questions i posted up???
"hay guyz how to i connecxt 2 the interwebs?!11!11 help!!1!oneone11"

I posted pretty concise instructions...

.ISO file = also referred to as a disk image or image = copy of game contained in a single file

You burn the .ISO file on to a disc and you have a playable game

If you have a bunch of RAR files, you need to extract (uncompress) the ISO prior to burning it.

simple ain't it? :P

a mod is a software or hardware modification to an electronic (i.e., computer) system.

this has all been answered. please do a search before posting on the forums. the same old questions every day have driven away many of our best and most knowledgeable members.

I know that u may already be aggrivated but I have only 2 questions

1. What if game comes with more than one part, Is it possible to just take one .iso file and put it on a DVD+R and the game will work or will I need to compress the files into one DVD+R

2. ( If I have to do 1.) What is the best program to use to compress the files?

1. on one disc, you will only extract one .iso file. sometimes this need to be burned either to a dual layer disc or rebuilt to be compressed and then fit on one disc.

2. there are guides to this on AD. stickied.

this is one of the differences between a true backup and a ...non-backup. if you've got 25 parts, you've either extracted too much or not enough. you should wind up with a .iso and a .mds file when you're in the proper place.

The scene has made it standard practice to split releases up into many separate pieces in RAR format (compressed files). Games are typically released in this manner. This has been done to facilitate the actual download of the release. This method has many advantages over sending a single large file including: 1) Smaller file size which lessens the transfer time and bandwidth required and 2) If there is a problem during the file transfer and data was corrupted, it is only necessary to resend the few corrupted RAR files instead of resending one large file.

You only need to extract the first file in the sequence (usually named game.rar or game.r001/.001) and the rest of the files will be uncompressed automatically. If you need step-by-step instructions on how to extract RAR archives, see Hursty's WinRAR Guide.

When the files have been extracted (uncompressed), a CD/DVD image file will be produced. A CD/DVD image is an exact digital replica of a CD/DVD, whereby all of the data is stored in one file to completely preserve the data structure and integrity of the CD/DVD. The image contains a complete bit-for-bit record of the contents of a disc, including any applicable file system structures. Some common image formats include: .ISO, .BIN/.CUE, .IMG, .NRG, .MDF/.MDS, .CCD, and .IMG. These images can be burned using software such as Nero, Alcohol 120%, DVD Decrypter, and ImgBurn. See the sticky threads at the top of the PS2 DVD Backup forum if you need help in using these programs.

honestly, rajj...have you searched at all? your questions are answered all over the internet. please do a bit of work on your end to solve your problems, or you'll just continue to assist in driving away knowledgeable members bored to tears in that stagnant pool of answered queries.

Just right click the first file ie game.001.rar and select extract this should give you the full iso image you need to burn top disc using dvd decrypter.
