today I went to a repair shop and the guy there told me that they have fixed a full bricked wii... but before anyone gets to excited, they "just" changed the motherboard. it worked, but it´s far from the ideal solution since it´s very expensive

Ok, I got the solution for the bricked Wii.
If you insterted the PAL Mario Strikers game, into a NTSC Modded Wii, and everyone told you you were lost....
Just insert the NTSC Nintendo Big Brain Academy Wii Degree game, update, ready to go...

I tried this and it worked!!!!

PS.: Thow your Mario Srickers copy away forever (I did that too)

@superfel

Before replying make sure you know what your talking about.

This thread is about Wii systems that are completely bricked. There is no way to fix a complete brick unless you change the hardware like suggest on the previous page.

The only way your solution will work is for semi-brick issues.

Its post like yours that confuses the hell out of a newbies when they come to this forum for information.

P.S. you don't have to throw Mario Strikers away you just have to make sure your Wii is updated with most resent firmware. In the future you should run Wii brick Blocker on the ISO before burning it to DVD.

I´m really sorry for that, I didn´t mean to confuse anybody, just to help all those who had the same problem I had.
I should have mentioned that it was only for partially bricked Wiis.
I guess thats because I´m a newbie too.
But I guess it was useful for all the people who have a partially bricked Wii.
Thanx anyway.
