I still have my original PS2 from day1 release. Amazing still works like brand new and never even cleaned the laser. I got PS3 now though so not sure what the heck to do with it.

RUN LINUX!!! Also lucky that yours still works, My release (1st week) died in 2003 after it had a short with memory cards, several plane trips to other states (checked in not as a handbag), falling out of a car, and my 3 yr old brother using it as a dance mat (dancing on the console).
